A lot can be said about a fabulous hat.
First, it makes a girl feel beautiful the minute she puts it on. It definitely attracts a lot of attention, both male and female so if a girl is not ready for that I would just add huge sunglasses so she can hide behind them. But in no way should it be a reason for not wearing one.
Secondly, it's always fashionable to wear a hat like this. This, however, does not mean that it should be worn all the time. It's probably most appropriate for a long day on the beach followed by drinks at an open air bar.
Also, this kind of hat will never go out of style. How long has it been since women started wearing them? I'll need to ask my girlfriend, she's good with history questions like that, but I'm pretty sure it's been a while. So just keep one in your closet, you can pass it to your daughter and she will most likely love it too.
If you find one at the price I did, you almost HAVE to buy it. This million dollar look cost me $20 at Home Goods. Yeap and I'm proud of it. It's all about getting things that look great but cost a fraction of what you'd think when you first see them, isn't it?
Finally, and most importantly, it covers your face and shoulders from unnecesary sun so you can be on the beach longer and look younger well beyond your age.
